RFA Wave Emperor was a Wave class oiler (a ship used to carry oil and to refuel other ships at sea), built originally for the UK Ministry of Transport and later transferred to the Royal Fleet Auxiliary.

Emperor was built by Furness Shipbuilding and launched on Teesside.
