Rezh

Rezh (Russian: Реж) is a town in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Rezh River (Ob's basin) 83 km north-east of Yekaterinburg. Population: 39,881 (2002 Census); 43,429 (1989 Census).
Founded in 1773 as a settlement around a metal works factory. Town status since 1943.
