We will be posting here what it would be like if Linux was used in place of Windows.

[edit] Advantages

Most software would become free.(good for the consumer)
Employment of programmers would go down, and shift to attention to science.(good for everyone)

[edit] Disadvantages

Programming would become a lesser job.
