Rex Rundgren

Rex Rundgren is the son of musician and producer Todd Rundgren. He is a shortstop in the Florida Marlins organization. Currently, in the 2006 season, he is beginning his third season with the Class AA Carolina Mudcats, for whom he has played since 2004. (He played the first half of the 2004 season with the Advanced Class A Jupiter Hammerheads.) In May of 2006, he briefly filled a spot playing baseball for the AAA Albuquerque Isotopes (named after the baseball team featured on The Simpsons). He also briefly played at the Major League level with the Marlins during Spring Training of 2006.
