"Revolution in the Classroom" was the second and last Ex Pistols single release, pressed on various coloured vinyls. It was released in 1989, on the STP records label. The unusual thing about this release is that it is credited as a Sex Pistols recording, though it clearly was not recorded by the band at all when they were together. However it could be argued that since some of the original Pistols did input into the recording of the songs, using the name Sex Pistols is no different from the name being used to promote songs such as No One Is Innocent.
The song, along with its B-Side "Schools Are Prisons" were both included on the Ex Pistols album - Deny LP. They also appeared on a two widely available Dave Goodman Pistols bootlegs disguised as genuine Sex Pistols recordings ("Pirates of Destiny", and "We Have Cum For Your Children").
