[edit] Synopsis
Crichton is knocked unconscious when D'Argo menaces him in a fit of rage, because he believes Crichton has touched something on the new ship D'Argo found in Suns and Lovers to make it act strangely, but John denies this. In fact, the ship, Lo'la, is going to automatically self-destruct, and the Moyans (Chiana, Jool, D'Argo and Pilot) must race to figure out how to save themselves. The ship cannot be ejected into space, so when it explodes, it will take Moya out with it. Jool, meanwhile tries to stabilize John, who is not doing well and remains unconscious.
A lot of the episode takes place in John's unconscious head. In his head, Harvey goads John on to take revenge against D'Argo, because to Harvey, revenge is the be-all and do-all of existence. He feels it will energize John and he'll wake from his coma. But John approaches this by turning Harvey into a cartoon, and turning the hostility between him and D'Argo into a cartoon reminiscent of Wile. E. Coyote and The Road Runner cartoons, with John as the Road Runner. All violence turns to humorous pratfalls and harmless cartoonish destruction. John gives Harvey the Letterman Top 10 List of Reasons to Live, and revenge isn't on there--only Aeryn, sex, Earth, Dad, and wormholes, mostly. John also fantasizes about an encounter with a cartoon Aeryn and the various female archetypes she could represent. While the crew is busy trying to save the ship, they leave John alone for awhile, and he flatlines, probably at the same time that his counterpart John on Talyn dies. However, with the help of Harvey and John's own will, he pulls through.
Meanwhile, Jool admits to D'Argo that she was the one who touched his ship, in an effort to get to know him better, since she likes him. D'Argo discovers that the ship is actually of Luxan design and is set to work only for Luxans, self-destructing if a non-Luxan touches it. To prove his Luxan heritage, he must bring a Qualta Blade to the ship. Unfortunately, he threw his away in a fit of anger. The crew race to find it, and the ship's self-destruct sequence shuts down. Crichton wakes up, wondering where everybody is.
