Reverse_Card_old.jpg (107 × 167 pixel, file size: 6 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)
[edit] Summary
This is a scan of the Uno Reverse card, circa 1995, this time using an Epson Stylus CX3700 printer/scanner. This is done for consistency with similar cards from the wordless versions.
[edit] Licensing
This image is of a card, and the copyright for it is most likely owned by the publisher of the card. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of cards
- to illustrate the card in question,
- on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation,
qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement. See Wikipedia:Fair use for more information.
To the uploader: please add a detailed fair use rationale for each use, as described on Wikipedia:Image description page, as well as the source of the work and copyright information.
This work is copyrighted and unlicensed. It does not fall into one of the blanket fair use categories listed at Wikipedia:Fair use#Images or Wikipedia:Fair use#Audio_clips. However, it is believed that the use of this work in the article "Uno (game)":
- To illustrate the object in question
- Where no free equivalent is available or could be created that would adequately give the same information
- On the English-language Wikipedia ([1]), hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation ([2]),
qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement. See Wikipedia:Fair use and Wikipedia:Copyrights.
To the uploader: this tag is not a sufficient claim of fair use. You must also include the source of the work, all available copyright information, and a detailed fair use rationale.
[edit] Fair use for UNO (game)
This image, Reverse Card old.jpg, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright, I feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:
- It is a low resolution copy of a playing card;
- It does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the game in any way;
- Its inclusion in the article adds significantly to it because it shows the subject of this article.
