I am a master's student in the department of computer science at the University of Texas at Austin.

In 2005, I graduated from Yale University with a bachelor's in Computer Science.

I've taken classes in artificial intelligence, robotics, vision, intellectual property, and I completed a number of projects that relied on genetic algorithms. I also worked in the Social Robotics Lab with Brian Scassellati, who worked on Kismet_(robot) and MIT_COG_project at MIT.

In addition to computer science classes, I took a neurobiology lecture and lab along with several psychology classes including cognitive development (with Karen Wynn), learning and memory, and a year long seminar on Autism (Volkmar and Klin). Before I came to Yale, I took a class called Cognitive Neuroscience: Perception and Memory at Princeton University, where I became very familiar with the Kandel's Principles of Neural Science.

I'm interested in genetic algorithms, distributed computation, open source software, and intellectual property law.
