Reunion is two part episode from second season of X-Men: The Animated Series. It originally aired on February 12, 1994 and February 19, 1994.

Part 1 begins in savage Land. Magneto and Professor Charles Xavier climb a mountain to get to Xavier's plane. Suddenly they are attacked by the Savage Land mutates, the sky riders. Xavier hits one of the riders with a rock and it bumps into the other riders and they fall down in the river. So, Magneto and Xavier continue their climb. They finally make it to the top and find Xavier's plane. Amphibius, Lupo, Barbarus, and Vertigo come out and attack. After a brief fight, Lupo and Barbarus manage to apprehend Xavier and Magneto. Vertigo uses her ability to put them unconscious, and mutates take the hostages to their new master to decide their fate.

Meanwhile Wolverine, Cyclops, and Jean Gray go to get Morph, they had gotten a message from him. Morph's been working in a theater. When they find Morph, he tells them to go away and that someone wants Jean and Cyclops, and already has the professor. Suddenly, the Nasty Boys led by Mister Sinister attack and capture the X-men. As they take them to the plane, wolverine wakes up and attacks, but is defeated, when Morph knocks his out. Then the Nasty Boys and sinister take Jean Gray, leaving behind Cyclops and Wolverine.

Back in Savage Land, a man named Ka-Zar and his sabertooth tiger named Zabu attck a group of Triceratops, and lead them towards the mutates that captured Magneto and the Professor. While the mutates are occupied with the triceratops, Ka-Zar gets Magneto and Professor X and escapes. Ka-Zar is angry at Magneto for creating the mutates, because they enslaved his people. But Xavier calms him down. So then they start making a plan to free Ka-Zar's people. Then they go to free the people. Magneto had built a secret passage, so they get in, but the mutates had found out about the passage, and were waiting for them. The mutates capture Magneto and Xavier, but Ka-Zar manages to escape. The mutates tie up their prisoners. at that point Sinister also comes with Jean Gray. Here Morph tries to attack Sinister, but gets caught and is also tied up. Sauron arrives and hypnotizes Xavier, so that he will send a message to the X-Men.

Back at the X-Mansion, the X-Men get a message from the Professor, asking them to come to the Savage Land. As the X-Jet descends down the fog that covers the savage land the first part ends.

After the X-Men land, they find that their powers has disappeared, but Wolverine can still use his claws. Right then, then the Nasty Boys and the Savage Land Mutates come to apprehend the X-Men. Vertigo uses her powers to knock out Wolverine, but he jumps off down the cliff and into a river, while the other get captured, since they could do nothing without their powers. Later Ka-Zar finds Wolverine and attacks him, thinking he's one of the mutates, since he can still use his claws. But later Ka-Zar finds the truth, so he asks Wolverine to join him in freeing everyone. Right then the Sky Riders come and start throwing their javelins at them. Ka-Zar manages to knock off one of the riders and gets on his bird. So then Wolverine and Ka-Zar go to attack the Laboratory, where everyone are kept.

Back at the Laboratory, Sinister plans on creating the ultimate mutant, with everyone's powers. Sinister has created a device, that he can use to merge any mutants' powers into any other mutant. As a test run, he gets Magneto's DNA and merges it with Vertigo, after the test Vertigo has all of Magneto's powers.

Then the scene cuts to Wolverine and Ka-Zar, they land on the Laboratory's roof, and get inside. Once inside, Ka-Zar goes towards, where his people are held to free them; Wolverine goes to where Sinister's Machine is. Wolverine interrupts Sinister when he gets Rogue ready for the next test. So he starts fighting with the mutates. Meanwhile Ka-Zar gets his people free, and they also come to the Lab and attack. Wolverine gets Xavier and Morph free, and they start destroying the machines, and the machine blows up, so everyone gets their powers back, but Xavier also looses his ability to walk, since it was a side effect of Sinister's machine. Now that the X-Men have their powers, they also attack. Sinister turns on the implant he planted in Morph a while ago, so Morph's evil side takes over, and tries to shoot Cyclops, but Xavier uses his powers and convinces Morph not to attack. Then with his beam, Cyclops breaks Mister Sinister's body in little tiny pieces, but it starts getting back together. So, Jean scatters Sinister's body parts all over the Savage Land, and says, "It will be a while before he gets back together." Then Sauron activates the self-destruct sequence, so the X-Men leave the Lab, and see it blown up. Later they help the Savage Land people rebuiled their homes and then they go back to the X-Mansion. In the end scene, Sauron watches the X-Men leave and says, "The Savage Land has been cleansed of outlanders. Now, its true destiny begins..."
