Return to Sleepaway Camp
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Return To Sleepaway Camp is a sequel to the cult classic Sleepaway Camp, ignoring the earlier, unsanctioned sequels in the series. It was directed by Robert Hiltzik, the creator of the original film. The original's star, Felissa Rose, reprises her role as main character Angela. Paul DeAngelo and Jonathan Tiersten also return in the sequel, with Vincent Pastore from The Sopranos starring as the camp's owner. Members of the band CKY are slated to have cameo appearances as counselors in the movie.[1]
The film was scheduled to be released in the early part of 2006, but has been delayed several times due to unsatisfactory CGI effects. The executive producer of the film, Tom Vandell, claimed that the corrected CGI was completed as of December 2006, but the director, Robert Hiltzik confirmed that it needed more work to meet his expectations.
