Sheldon walks up to Orson and asks him to read him a scary story. Orson asks him if he’s sure, and Sheldon assures him that he isn’t afraid of anything. Orson then reads him the opening line of Humpty Dumpty, and Sheldon runs away because it’s too scary.

Meanwhile, Booker is out worm hunting, and after chasing a worm down a hole, he sits on the hole to keep the worm from escaping. The worm remedies this by poking Booker while wearing a pointed helmet, which causes Booker to jump off and land on the ground, startling Sheldon. Sheldon then tells Booker that he’s frightened because Orson told him a story about a monster.

Sheldon is further frightened after hearing Roy bugle the wake-up call, and Booker explains to him why Sheldon is frightened. Roy then comes across Bo and Lanolin planting seeds, and he is not amused when he discovers that Lanolin’s “ugly” scarecrow looks just like him. After he leaves, Bo mentions to Lanolin that Orson said there was a monster on the farm. Lanolin then warns Wade about a monster being around, who becomes terrified and tells Orson. Orson initially doesn’t believe him, but then he transforms into Power Pig in order to defeat the monster.

Wade and Orson mistake Lanolin’s scarecrow for the monster, and Orson tackles it with so much force that they both go careening down a hill and across the farm, enveloping Booker and Roy (who are chasing worms and playing paddleball, respectively) in the melee before crashing into the barn. Orson then realizes that he was fighting a scarecrow, and he questions why Wade told him that there was a monster around. Everyone then goes through a chain conversation as to who told them about the monster -- in order: Wade to Lanolin to Bo to Roy to Booker to Sheldon. Sheldon states that he only told Booker what Orson told him, and Orson then gets fed up and announces that he’s going for a long walk in the country. Roy misinterprets this as meaning that Orson is going to a country, which eventually leads everyone to believe that he is going off to Spain.
