Retro movement

Retro movement or (boomerang fad) is a pop culture interest in the fashion, trends, fads, and other aspects of an older period.

The music, film, and television industry tend to take advantage of these retro movements by filling TV shows, songs, commercials, movies, and other forms of pop culture with references of the time. This tends to fuel the retro in it as well, almost like a domino effect.
