Restaurant Makeover

Restaurant Makeover is a television series hosted by chefs Brad Long, Renee Chauvin, Lynn Crawford, Massimo Capra, Corbin Tomaszeski, and David Adjey along with designers Jessica Cotton, Robin De Groot, Meredith Heron, Cherie Nicole Stinson, and Glen Peloso, who perform renovation makeovers on restaurants in dire need for a transformation. The premise of the show is to challenge two restaurant professionals, one designer and one chef, to overhaul a struggling restaurant with a very limited budget and time. Originally the show would match funds provided by the restaurant owners up to $15,000; however, that has increased to $25,000.
The series aired on Food Network Canada, HGTV, and the Fine Living channel in the United States. The pilot episode starred Robin De Groot.
One example episode features a family-run eatery (Coco's Cafe) which was in danger of having to close down if they didn't dramatically transform their decor and menu. Restaurant Makeover has shot two seasons to date and begins shooting its third season early 2006 with Robin De Groot, Lynn Crawford and the rest of the RMO gang.
