resident is an Austrian music magazine with strong focus on the German speaking drum'n'bass scene. Its released quarterly and includes a mix CD featuring a regional label or artist.

The magazine's main idea is it to promote the often neglected but highly talented German and Austrian drum'n'bass scene.

The first issue has been released in october 2005, its release was accompanied by a major drum'n'bass event in Vienna. The Lineup featured more than 15 Acts, including internationally famous and not-yet-famous DJs, MCs and VJs. Alongside many others:

  • John B,
  • Syncopix,
  • Basstikal,
  • Shroombab,
  • MC SINISTA,
  • Splinta and
  • MC Davox.

With a circulation of 2,000 copies, it is the highest circulation German speaking drum'n'bass magazine worldwide.
