Research Test Vehicle 31 was a hovercraft-type vehicle which was guided by a track. The propulsion was provided by a linear induction motor. It was the product of Professor Eric Laithwaite and the Government backed Tracked Hovercraft Ltd TACV, in the late 1960's.

A 5 km test track was built at Earith, Cambridgeshire, England, along the terrace between Old Bedford River and New Bedford River. The test vehicle is currently on display at Railworld near Peterborough.
