[edit] Reversion without limit

I'm a tad worried about the Reversion without limit remedy, as this could lead to wide interpretation and only bring more edit warring. It essentially says that one party is correct in their view and that if anyone does anything against that view, they can revert without limit. Cowman109Talk 21:13, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

We have no ability to stop banned users from editing an article except blocking and reverting their edits. Often a small group of editors and admins that are familiar with the situation need to do this and may look like an edit war. Sometimes they may be reported for 3RR and blocked by an administrator not familiar with the situation. Hopefuly this will stop that problem. --FloNight 01:59, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] end of Arbitration?

Can someone please clarify ASAP if this is nearing the end of the process (and that no further Evidence is being considered beyond what has been to date and no further remedies are to be proposed etc)? I ask because some futher pertinent information about the parties involved is possibly forthcoming and I would like to know how much time there is left to present this.Richardmalter 04:10, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Generally speaking, when a case goes to voting on proposed decisions, the evidence phase is more or less over. Arbitrators will consider additional evidence, and will sometimes offer additional or counter proposals. If you intend to offer additional proposals for voting (findings of fact and remedies), use the workshop page, but you may wish to call the arbitrators attention to it with a short, polite note on their talk pages, or by sending an e-mail to Arbcom-L at wikipedia dot org.
