[edit] Spanked

New user Spanked has recently been repeatedly deleting cited text and external links from a range of Scientology-related articles, specifically Xenu, Office of Special Affairs and Operating Thetan. This behaviour is very similar to that which resulted in Terryeo and AI being banned from editing Scientology-related articles (see Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Terryeo#Proposed final decision and Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/AI). It is suspected that Spanked may be a sockpuppet of Terryeo or AI, being used to evade a ban. I would be grateful if a checkuser could be performed on these three accounts to identify whether sockpuppetry is in fact occurring here. -- ChrisO 01:09, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Note: I, User:Spanked, have removed uncited information. According to Wikipedia policy and Mr. Wales, uncited information may be removed by ANYONE. ChrisO's reverts re-introduce the uncited information. He has called for blocks and made accusation of impropriety, which is uncivil. Instead of providing references to back up the claims his reverts are responsible for, he spends time composing this checkuser and directs more uncivility towards me --Spanked 01:20, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Spanked's claim is transparently false. Serious allegation of policy violation is not uncivil, and references are given. Spanked has in several of the above articles removed cited information. --FOo 08:42, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Note:CheckUser does not indicate that Spanked is a sockpuppet of Terryeo. However, Spanked does appear to be a sockpuppet of a different editor. Jayjg (talk) 15:57, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks! Since you know (but clearly are not saying) the other identity of this documented abuser, may I assume that you are doing the right thing to protect the project from further abuse? --FOo 07:12, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
FOo, please see User talk:ChrisO#Spanked CheckUser. -- ChrisO 08:04, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Cool. --FOo 06:36, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
