Continues edit warring in Continuation War. It seems that he creates new sock puppet as the older ones are closed, so soft protection isn't working. Is there any other way to protect the article without closing it from development? --Whiskey 11:00, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

I do not think his every sock needs to go to checkuser, an administratior can just block them on sight, based on his edists. The previous checks are proof enough of his tactics. -- Petri Krohn 11:15, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
I have added two more users to this list. More likely AD socks in Continuation War. Note the following edits are only cut and pastes of Art Dominique rants. [1] and [2]. TheQuandry 02:08, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

These were missed from the last request. (I was late by a few seconds.) Sockpuppet User:Huckleberry Hugo is active in disrupting Talk:Continuation War. -- Petri Krohn 23:26, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Clerk note: I removed the 'older' section (see history). For January 06 puppets: Art was not banned when he/she used them, and thus could not evade a ban or block with them (Code F). For December puppets: would have been found last check. Prodego talk 00:24, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Note: I listed them at ANI, an administrator will review and block if he/she thinks it's right. TheQuandry 00:47, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

The above suspected sockpuppets are all active on the Continuation War article and, after the article's protection, on its talk page. They have repeatedly inserted a large section (containing many unsourced claims and questionable scholarship, see dispute on the talk page for details) without seeking consensus with the rest of the editors. With the exception of 213.216.199.6, all are single-purpose accounts, contributing only to the Continuation war article or its related talk. User "Ahven is a fish" also had only a few minor contributions in three related articles.

Recently, several of these users have taken to attacking their opposition with various accusations of conspiracy, propaganda and sockpuppetry: [5], [6], [7], [8], as well as agreeing to each other, thus creating an impression of a "concerned majority" [9], [10], [11] etc.

It appears that Art Dominique, as well as two more IPs from this range (213.216.199.0 - 213.216.199.63) were already blocked as part of a sockpuppet army (listed here) focusing on Finnish history last year.

The more "vocal" users (Nadja, Ahven Anno Domino and the IP) also share the same writing style, full of pathos, rhetorics and accusations. --Illythr 14:11, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Addendum- I got a very strange post to my talk page from a brand new account accusing Illythr of being a sockpuppet himself, with three other editors (one of whom I've had issues with recently, this person seemed to think I was an admin and I think they were trying to manipulate me into blocking all of these accounts). Anyway, here is the post to my talk page [12], [13], etc. etc. TheQuandry 21:51, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
Please do no list me here. I'm not the same as Art Dominique or other else here. --Huckleberry Hugo

Clerk note: See Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Kven. The Kven-user, a person who edits from multiple short term sock accounts, is restricted to one account and may be banned from any article he disrupts. For more info and some old IPs see User:Mikkalai/arkven#Alphabetic_list and Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Kven socks. Thatcher131 06:14, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I tell you that my personality cannot be hidden under the name Art Dominique. My contributions here are minor ones. I have only supported Art Dominique and others who tell the truth. I have seen that Art Dominique works very hard to rectify some false beliefs about Continuation War. He uses much more historical references than his opponents in these pages. Do not prevent the truth come forth. - Masa62 12:14, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Added just another IP 213.216.199.26 to the list. It seems that it belongs to the same group of IPs belonging to Oulun puhelin, Finnish telephone connection and ISP provider company as other IPs mentioned above. This IP had been used for other edits as contributions show. --Whiskey 14:49, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
