[edit] Pablo-flores

final (27/0/0) ending 16:52 Wednesday 14 December 2005 (UTC)

Pablo-flores (talk contribs) – Pablo has been a silent but steady contributor. His edits are countless (literally, since Kate's tool is down) but the last time I checked they were over 4200. He's been here for a long time and has displayed an amazing ability to copyedit, create new articles and stay on top of vandals. He is more than worthy of this privilege. Sebastian Kessel Talk 22:26, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

According to Interiot's tool Pablo-flores has 4182 edits as of right now. The full edit count can be found |here KnowledgeOfSelf | talk 19:03, 9 December 2005 (UTC)

Point taken, will take care of that. May I note that Wednesday 16 December 2005 does not exist? Tomorrow is Wednesday 14. --Pablo D. Flores (Talk) 17:55, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

Questions for the candidate
A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:

1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
A. Watching pages for minor vandalism. Not major controversial topics that attract vandals and trolls, but more especially the myriad common articles where silly vandalism may go unnoticed for a while.
2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A. Of the recent ones, the article about Rosario (my native city) and its subarticles. I learned a lot creating or adding content to them, and I feel they can now convey that knowledge to readers. Of the older ones, linguistics articles such as pro-drop language and timing (linguistics).
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A. A couple of users have actually caused me stress; I've chosen to stay back and cool down by myself while others took care of the matter. In one case I filed a RfC on a problematic user. Other conflicts that I've participated in have been solved as they should, through discussion, or by the intervention of admins.
B. I'd say I'm not diplomatic, but I prefer to discuss rigorously. The best thing you can say about that is that I'll be the first to say "I don't know" when I really don't know.
