[edit] Mrld
Final (0/2/0); Ended 02:23, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
Mrld (talk • contribs) - Hi, I'm User:Mrld. I've nominated myself for adminship. I have been active in Wikipedia since late July of 2006. I've been doing many things on Wikipedia. I try to ask vandals to stop vandalizing Wikipedia and give them a polite warning on what Wikipedia is actually about. I try to edit all articles with good faith all the time. I have a form of Autism called Asperger's Syndrome. I do not think that this will get in the way if I should recieve adminship. I like to think of my autism as a gift, not a barrier. If I recieve adminship I will work to better Wikipedia and not abuse her. I'm active in the Newpage Patro and the Recent Changes Patrol. If I become an admin I will stay active in these activities. If some one gives me a heads up that I've broken a rule, I leave a polite message on their talk page and thank them for telling me that. I will always try to do what is right if I recieve this special priviledge.

- Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What sysop chores do you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Administrative backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
- A: I intend to help out newcomers and help them to get to know Wikipedia better. I will also become more activly involved in the fight against vandalism. I will try to warn vandals in a polite way. I will also remind them on what Wikipedia is about. I also intend to come to anybody's aid on Wikipedia whereover it is requested.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any with which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A: I am pleased with the fact that with technology, I can help make the World of Knowledge a better palce for all. If I were to recieve this honor, I would contritute so much knowledge. Wikipedia is about bringing knowledge in one place for all to share and I hope that I can make it even more true than it already is.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Recently I tried to move all the articles about Seaplanes into one big article called Water Aircraft. A polite User I think his name was User:Clawson, told me about standard Wikipedia procedure on moving articles. I had also deleted my talks on my talk page. This polite user told me that I shouldn't do that. So I left him a thankyou message on his talk page and that's how I solved that problem.

Oppose
- Oppose. I appreciate your eagerness to help Wikipedia. However, you have less than 1000 edits, so I think you need more experience. You also seem somewhat unfamiliar with WP:RFA, as you mistook your tally for a date. I would suggest withdrawal. Feel free to reapply again in the near future when you have more experience. --Deskana (talk) (review me please) 00:31, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose. You're only at ~600 edits so far.[1] More time and edits will allow you to better acquaint yourself with relevant policies and guidelines. Keep up the good work—any good vandal fighter is a welcome asset. -- Scientizzle 01:15, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
