[edit] Hmrox
Final (0/3/1) ended 21:27, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Hmrox (talk • contribs) – I believe I would make a good admin because I am actively involved in editing Wikipedia almost everyday. So I am nominating myself for adminship. I also revert alot of vandalism everyday and Recent Changes as well. I've also never blocked before and I've never vandalized an article either. I also believe admins should follow a higher a standard of rules than regular users and I also enjoy editing Wikipedia. Hmrox 20:15, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here:
I accept the nomination. I withdraw my nomination.
- Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:
- 1. What sysop chores do you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog and Category:Administrative backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
- A: I would like to involved get reverting vandalism and blocking users that need to be blocked. I would also like to welcome new users. I would also be able to revert vandalism faster if I became an admin. I would also be able to help out the community easier.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any of which you are particularly pleased with, and why?
- A: I have created some categories that I am really pround of. I've created and and a few more. I've also nominated a pointless article for deletion called Clam Cannon. I also created a list of Hannah Montana characters. I also am very proud of all the vandalism I revert everyday.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Yes I have especially when I tried to add true info to an article. For example I added a fact that was true to an article but someone kept removing. So I dealt with it by putting a message and then they stopped. I've also added info to an article which at first I thought was right but I learned it wasn't and just gave up on adding again.

Oppose
- – Chacor 20:33, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose. Reverting and welcoming new users does not require admin powers, the answers are short and have terrible grammar, inattention to detail does not bode well for a potential admin. Only 50 project edits indicates that the user is not familiar with process, also 138 user talk and less than a 1000 mainspace edits also fail my criteria. Themindset 20:55, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Weak oppose I think Themindset sums it up well. That said, I think you're a good editor and with more experience you could become a good admin candidate in the future. You might find User:Gwernol/AdminTips of some use. Good luck, Gwernol 21:10, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Neutral
- Neutral. Seems like a good user, but unfortunately has not yet got admin qualities. Sorry. --Alex (Talk) 21:01, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
