[edit] Flarn2005

Final (0/4/0) ended 22:12, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

Flarn2005 (talk contribs) – I think I would make a good administrator because although I have a history of vandalism, I promise I will not vandalize again, and that I have made some good contributions. Flarn 21:54, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here: I accept the self-nomination. Flarn 21:55, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

Oppose

  1. Although entusiastic, oppose. I might also urge you to withdraw this nom. --LV (Dark Mark) 22:05, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
  2. Oppose. Agree with LV that this premature nomination should be withdrawn. Not much experience, and recent vandalism: [2]. FreplySpang (talk) 22:08, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
  3. I have to agree with those above - adminship requires the trust of the community because it includes powers that can inflict great harm on Wikipedia. It will take a looong stretch of good contributions to overcome your history of vandalism, which appears to have run up to the beginning of last month this week! That aside, you have fewer than 500 total edits, and should really have much more than that before you consider an adminship bid. I wish you the best of luck in the future, tho. 4. Oppose, obviously. Last vandalism was 3 days ago. —Cleared as filed. 22:11, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

Questions for the candidate
A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:

1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
A. Banning users who have committed vandalism, deleting nonsense pages--things like that.
2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A. I can't really remember many of my contributions, but I know I have been pleased about some.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A. I have never been in any situations like this, but I will deal with it in a polite way.
