- Too inexperienced: Please, get experience and community trust by participating here, on the talk page, voting on policies, on AFDs, go on New Pages and Recent Changes Patrol, and try writing a few articles. We need to know that you are committed. Youll be good in no time if you take my advice. Orane (t) (c) (e) 07:24, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

Comments
- Edit summary usage: 5% for major edits and 11% for minor edits. Based on the last 10 major and and 17 minor edits outside the Wikipedia, User, Image, and all Talk namespaces. Mathbot 07:15, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

- Be patient. You may not be ready yet, but keep doing what you're doing (and use edit summaries more often) and you'll be ready soon enough. – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 18:11, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:
- 1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
- A. Monitoring for vandalism and fast reverting, ArbCom enforcement, helping with [un-]deletion of pages, and helping to maintain the Main Page. I'm happy to help in other ways too.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A. My edits are mainly of the "tidying-up" sort, rather than writing large amounts of new material, but I feel that this type of edit is equally important. I am pleased with my recent linkification of John Psathas, which was formerly almost free of cross-references.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A. I do not believe that I have been in this situation in the past, but I am confident that I could deal with these situations in a pleasant and mature manner if needed to.
