Azer Red (talk • contribs) (formerly known as User:Rouge Rosado) – Haven't accumulated a lot of edits with this account yet, but have been familiar with Wikimedia projects for a while, and know how things work. Questions for the candidate

Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:

1. What sysop chores do you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog and Category:Administrative backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.

A: I would like to help resolve disputes on the admin noticeboard and would be willing to revert and fight vandalism.

2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any with which you are particularly pleased, and why?

A: I've done a fair deal of cleanup and improvement of Dungeons and Dragons-related articles and I've created a few stubs such as Mercurial sword and keep a general eye out for mistakes and ways that articles could be improved.

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

A: Haven't had much trouble with other users so far. I've made sure to ask for others opinions before making controversial decisions and try to avoid agitating tense situations.

Oppose

1. Answer to Q1 clearly demonstrates that the user does not know about the admin tools. There is no need for admin tools to do the things you have specified in Q1. – Chacor 00:57, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

   I do know the admin tools. I want to be able to block vandals and issue resolutions on WP:AN stuff. I know I can help out with that stuff somewhat without admin tools. but it would be more convenient for me if I had it.

3. Oppose and suggest withdrawal User has clearly demonstrated lack of readiness. User needs to gain more experience editing, contributing and taking part in Admin related tasks. With first edit in September and < 2000 total edits, user does not have the experience for adminship. Recommend user withdraw and consider submitting RfA 3 months and 3,000 edits from now.
