[edit] Vulgar/Offensive template
In response to some comments on Talk:Felching, I would like to request a template, similar to the spoiler template, that would mark potentially offensive material before it is read. I'm not talking about material discussing possibly offensive viewpoints; I'm talking about text, such as that at Felching and Queef, that may cause offense because of the actual language used. I was grossed out by even the first couple of lines of Felching; I would greatly have preferred the chance to not have read it. Something like "Warning: The following material may be considered vulgar and/or offensive by some." -- Calion | Talk 02:15, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, this is a perennial complaint against established standards. See Wikipedia:No disclaimer templates. I think that some means of allowing users to 'opt out' of certain types of content would be beneficial to Wikipedia, but to date no such effort has been accepted and any template created for this would certainly be deleted. --CBDunkerson 14:36, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
