• Pass an optional of= parameter to indicate what the subject of the photograph should be.
• Adds page to Category:Wikipedia requested photographs.
• Pass an optional unnamed parameter (1) to indicate an appropriate subcategory. For example, use {{reqphoto|cars}} to add the page to Category:Wikipedia requested photographs of cars.
• Use in place of the deprecated {{reqimage}}.

• {{Reqphoto}} - photographs
• {{Reqfreephoto}} - photographs, with added emphasis on free license. Generally used on articles where a free-licensed photo should be used, rather than existing or recently removed fair use photos.
  • {{Reqphotoin}} - photographs sorted by location
  • {{Reqfreephotoin}} - same as {{reqfreephoto}} above, but sorted by location like {{reqphotoin}}
  • {{ReqphotoinJapan}} - photographs sorted by location in Japan
• {{Reqmap}} - maps
  • {{Reqmapin}} - map requests sorted by location
• {{Reqdiagram}} - diagrams
  • {{Diagram needed}} - diagrams in situ
