Talk:Representation of the People Act 1884

An actual estimate of the adult male population in 1884 would be helpful. I have failed to find one. The quoted statistic, from Britannica 1911, suggests a total population for the UK (1884), which suggests adult male population of about 10 million, depending on demographics; but can anyone get a more precise figure?Septentrionalis 03:01, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
