The Republika Srpska national football team is not internationally recognized. It represents Serbian-speaking peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina (known locally as Republika Srpska).
The Republic of Srpska is neither a member of FIFA nor UEFA and does not participate in international tournaments. The goal of the Republic of Srpska Football Association, which was formed in 1992 and controls the team, is to gain official status. They are not yet members of the New Federations Board, which organizes matches for non-official national teams.
The team has only played two representative matches, against German amateur opposition, in the summer of 2001.
