The Republican Party is a political party in Guam affiliated with the United States Republican Party. At the gubernatorial elections of the fifth of November 2002, its candidate Felix Camacho won 55.2% of popular vote and became governor. At the last legislative elections, on the second of November 2004, the party won nine out of 15 seats. Lieutenant Governor Kaleo Moylan, Attorney-General Douglas Moylan and the majority of the 28th Guam Legislature, belong to the party. Likewise, most of the mayoral positions on the island are held by Republicans.
