Reppisch
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Reppisch is a river, which rises in the Türlersee and flows with Dietikon into the Limmat. The Reppisch flows in the Saeuliamt (district Affoltern), canton of Zürich, still by partial unaffected nature.
Between Birmensdorf and Dietikon the river crosses a close valley, which is used of the troops of Swiss army stationed in the close infantry barracks as range. Under the week it can be closed in parts therefore.
Briefly before Dietikon the river underruns the Mutschellenpassstrasse and the railway of the Bremgarten-Dietikon-Bahn. In this range it came in the spring 1999 to heavy inundations, whereby the road and the line were interrupted for several days.
