[edit] Creation

Due to overflow, I have moved here the following material from Renewable energy: 1 The renewable energy movement

1 Renewable energy today 2 Renewable energy use by nation 3 Renewable energy controversies 3.1 Lack of motivation for funding

4 Renewable energy support mechanisms 4.1 Tariff mechanisms 4.2 Quota mechanisms 4.3 Contract bidding mechanisms 4.4 Production tax credits

I copied also, w/o change: 5 External links 6 References MGTom 20:34, 2005 Feb 2 (UTC)

There are two entries for US in geothermal in the list of leading electricity producers

[edit] Renewable energy utilisation by nation

THe US is listed 1st and 3rd - what is the rationale for this? Sources for the table would also be useful. Gardar Rurak 05:59, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merging

I know this page was created due to overflow from Renewable Energy but IMO the history and renewable energy today sections would be excellent replacements for much of the intro to the original Renewable Energy Article. Contributors please comment! --Huggsy 00:46, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
