Renison College

Renison College is a public college with a strong affiliation with the Anglican Church of Canada. It is located in Waterloo, Ontario. It is federated with the University of Waterloo. Renison College was incorporated on January 14, 1959, by a charter of the Province of Ontario.
The College was named in memory of Robert John Renison, 1875-1957, a former Metropolitan of Ontario and Bishop of Moosonee. On July 1, 1960, it entered an affiliation with the University of Waterloo with the right to offer courses and programmes in Arts and the Social Sciences for credit towards the Bachelor of Arts degree of the University. Recently it has also developed programs in East Asian studies and a post-B.A. Bachelor of Social Work program.
