René Corbet

René Corbet (born June 25, 1973 in Victoriaville, Quebec) is a Canadian ice hockey player currently playing for the Mannheim Eagles (Adler Mannheim) of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. Corbet was a second round pick (24th overall) by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft, Quebec would become the Colorado Avalanche in the 1995-96 NHL season. He also played in the NHL for the Calgary Flames and the Pittsburgh Penguins before moving to Germany in 2001 to join the DEL's Mannheim Eagles where he plays today. He won a Stanley Cup with Colorado in 1996.
