René Berthiaume

René Berthiaume is a businessman and Liberal politician in Ontario, Canada. He is the Liberal candidate in the riding of Glengarry—Prescott—Russell in the 2006 federal election. He has been a paramedic for 25 years and has served as a funeral director since 1973. He is the past president of the Hawkesbury Chamber of Commerce, President Emeritus for the Ontario Ambulance Operators' Association, Founding President of the Canadian Confederation of Ambulance Service Associations and a Board member of the Major Industrial Accidents Council of Canada. He has also acted as the Eastern Regional Advisor for TVOntario.
