An Amateur radio operator may wish to use a remote base station in such cases where he/she could not construct a station in his/her home, the ideal location for a station is not easily accessible (The Amateur radio operator lives in a deep valley, but the ideal location may be on top of a mountain). A group of Amateur radio operators may wish to build a Remote base station to share the cost of a single station.
