Remixed Prayers is a 1989 mini-album released by Madonna to coincide with the release of the Like a Prayer album. It contains 5 remixes of "Like a Prayer" and 3 of "Express Yourself". It is also notable that this release marks the first time a Madonna remix was over 10 minutes ("Express Yourself"-Stop + Go Dubs-10:52). The cover art (drawing of a nun) was done by Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone. Remixed Prayers was released in 1989 only in Japan and later in 1993 in Australia (to coincide with Madonna going Down Under for the first time with the Girle Show Tour). It was imported in the United States and United Kingdom (and many other countries), but never released anywhere apart from Japan and Australia.
The 'MLVC' signature in the cover means 'Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccione', and the falling P represent her recent divorce (in 1988) from his then husband, Sean Penn.
