Remixed & Revisited is the 2nd remix EP by singer Madonna and 17th recording, released in 2003 (see 2003 in music). Prior to its release, there were many rumors about Madonna releasing a special commemorative box set celebrating her 20th anniversary in the music business. But "Remixed & Revisited" was released instead. The EP itself contained many remixes of songs from her "American Life" album, as well as an unreleased song and a live performance on MTV. Madonna herself admitted that the EP was, in a way, to give more life to the "American Life" album, which was received coolly by both fans and critics.
The EP was recognized as a single in some countries and as an album in others.

The EP went straight to the #1 spot on the United States Billboard Top 40 Dance Albums Chart while it only made #115 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. "Remixed & Revisited" sold nearly 1 million copies worldwide.
[edit] Miscellanea
"Your Honesty" was originally written and recorded during the "Bedtime Stories"-sessions in 1994 and was written and produced by Madonna and Dallas Austin.
"Into The Hollywood Groove" was specially written to promote GAP jeans for a short time, and if you listen carefully to this version Missy Elliot's line 'G A Capital P' has been reversed as not to include product endorsement.
