The 'Remington M870 Tactical Shotgun' is an updated and converted version of the standard Remington 870. It features a full pistol-grip stock, fixed chokes, improved cylinder and recoil pads to absorb impact. The 870 has long been used for personal protection, competition, and law-enforcement since the original '870 Wingmaster' was released in 1950. The 'M870 Tactical' has been optimized for close-quarters handling and is available for private, law-enforcement, and military purchase.
