Remi Aduke Adedeji (born 1937 in Okemesi) is a Nigerian children's book writer and associate editor for Bookbird.[1] She is also a member of the International Board on Books for Young People. She became interested in children's literature because she felt that the examples of it in Nigeria did not reflect African culture.[2]
