[edit] Discussion pages

Dear Alan, To leave a comment on a talkpage, just add your comment to the bottom of the page. Don't delete other people's comments. To sign your name (with the time and date), use 4 tilde signs together, thus: ~~~~. Do please avoid deleting large chunks of pages unless you're really sure that's what you mean to do. All the best, Pseudomonas 23:08, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Note from new user

Hi, I'm a new user. I'm still getting to grips with editing. I take it on discussion pages you delete what the person wrote previously and put in your comment. That last person write quite a lot. I know this won't be up for very long as the next person will probably come in and write their comment. I'd like to become an important part of Wikipedia and by that I'd like to join WikiProjects. But I don't get it! Where do I sign up and how do I sign up. I don't have a 'user page'. Can I have some help. You will not regret this, I've already figured out to upload my images, quite advanced for a noob. Please let me be part of the project and add my name to the list. Thank you. I don't even know how to sign my own name properly so I'll just put it in normal font (LOL). relentless1234567
