Talk:Relative Theory Records
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
i would like some input about justifying the notability of this article. many other record stores and venues have articles and this is one of the most popular locales on the east coast for independent music shows as well as a well known store. as well as a very popular blog on their website. www.relativetheoryrecords.com. i appreciate any input.
if relative theory is cited in any major publications, please cite it
I have, I cited the large article from the virginian-pilot from december of 2005. The link is there, the whole article can be read for free.
- Relative Theory, far as I can tell, has a lot of local credibility and is very highly regarded in Norfolk. They're growing quite a bit, expanding into the restaurant business and are one of the touchstones to Norfolk's local scene. It's notable in the community; whether it's notable on Wikipedia, that's a completely different question. I think it is.
- On a side note, for whatever reason, I didn't see any albums by Idaho last time I was in there, but they DID have stuff by the Red House Painters. Who knows, maybe they'll read this and get copies of Idaho's major-label stuff in so I don't have to steal it. :) - Stick Fig 09:11, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
