RelayFax is a fax server for Windows computer systems, produced by Alt-N Technologies. It supports the sending and receiving of faxes, on any scale from low to high volumes.
Available end-user interfaces include standard e-mail client, virtual printer, and dedicated software. All these interfaces result in an e-mail message being sent to a dedicated mailbox on a local or remote mail server. RelayFax polls this mailbox via POP at regular intervals and turns any messages found into fax messages for transmission. Conversely, incoming fax messages are communicated to users by e-mail; RelayFax can use an OCR engine to analyse a fax message and try to determine the recipient.
RelayFax licences are priced according to the number of user accounts handled.
