Relationship Transgression

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

According to Metts, relationship transgressions are offenses (major or minor) that disrupt the stability of an interpersonal relationship because they involve violations of rules (explicit or taken for granted) for appropriate relational conduct.[citation needed]

A few examples of relational rules which lead to transgression are: not cheating on your partner, being honest to your partner, and calling when you say you will.
