Reinhold Maier

Reinhold Maier (October 16, 1889 in Schorndorf – August 19, 1971 in Stuttgart) was a German politician and the leader of FDP 1957–1960.
In Weimar Republic Maier was member of the German Democratic Party (DDP). In 1945 he belongs to the founders of the Democratic People's Party (DVP) which is now the Baden-Württemberg-Organisation of the FDP.
From 1946 to 1952 he was Prime Minister of Württemberg-Baden and then until 1953 Prime Minister of the new Baden-Württemberg.
