Reijo Ruotsalainen
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Reijo Ruotsalainen (born April 1, 1960 in Oulu, Finland) is a Finnish retired ice hockey defenseman. He won two Stanley Cups with the Edmonton Oilers, in 1987 and 1990. Herb Brooks, the head coach of New York Rangers claimed that Ruotsalainen was the best skater in NHL at that time. Lacking size, Ruotsalainen made his mark in NHL as a fluid skater. He currently works in the organization of Jukurit as a head coach in Finnish Mestis.
