Reihaneh Safavi-Naini

Reihaneh (Rei) Safavi-Naini (Persian: ريحانه صفوی نائينی ‎ ) is an Iranian-born professor in the School of Computer Science, Faculty of Informatics in University of Wollongong, Australia. She is also head of Telecommunications and Information Technology Research Institute (TITR), one of the research strengths of University of Wollongong.

She has completed her BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering in University of Tehran. She received a PhD in Electrical Engineering under supervision of Prof. Ian F. Blake from University of Waterloo, Canada. She has co-authored more than 100 scholar papers in journals and conference proceedings on cryptography, digital right management, and network security. She is a regular program committee member of high-profile conferences like Asiacrypt, and ACM CCS.
