[edit] The lead protagonist's name — or why I just reverted User:Nftrot's edit

It's pretty clear that David Sandström prefers to spell his surname with the umlaut 'ö' and not with the plain English/Latin character 'o'. One particular example can be seen on the fourth episode of the second season ("Dim & Dimmer"), where the subway dweller Owen rummages thru David's belongings and finds his NorBAC business card which shows the original Swedish spelling. This fact is hardly surprising considering his father is a first generation immigrant from Sweden, and Canada being officially bilingual with French and all it is bound to be more tolerant than other "anglo-saxon" countries to proper names with "funny" diacritics. Just to say that there is more than A-Z in the alphabet nowadays, especially when one considers people's names. —jibun_{≈παντα ρει≈} (keskustele!) 08:15, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
