Notable roles "Reggie" in
the Phantasm series.

Reggie Bannister (September 29, 1945-) is an American actor, musician, and director most known for his role as Reggie, a balding ex-ice cream man, in director Don Coscarelli's Phantasm series. He currently resides in Crestline California where he lives with his wife Gigi "Fast Elk" Porter. He is still active in film-making and music. He is also a vegetarian.

Reggie is best known for his four way shotgun (also known as a "streetsweeper", because of the wide dispersal pattern of shot) weapon of choice exploits in the Phantasm series in which he starred along side A. Michael Baldwin and Angus Scrimm. He also composed some of the music for the Phantasm series, for example the song "Sitting Here at Midnight", which was used in the original "Phantasm" movie.

Reggie has often played himself in his movies, a part which he "really made his own".
