[edit] Practices
- My family is from Kolozsvár (Cluj). In my family, it is not customary to genuflect or use candles. Nor is it customary to display crosses, not even in church or in cemetaries. Flowers may be used (instead of candles) to honor of the dead. Also, it is customary to abandon the celebration of the birthday in favor of celebrating the "name day." Names are assigned to a certain calendar date. Everyone with the same name celebrates their life on the same day.
- (I hope this serves as an invitation for others to come forward with their respected family practices and a show of denominational diversity.)
Those praxis are interesting, if someone find a way to edit and publish back on the main article. --Leonardo Alves 18:33, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
