Refik is a well known meyhane (restaurant) in Istanbul's Asmalı Mescit street. It's in famous Beyoğlu district, near the Tünel station. Refik actually has two branches, the "Refik" and the "Yeni Refik". Most of the food is the same, and the staff are relatives, although the customers usually stick to their preference of Refiks. In addition, the owner Refik can be seen wandering around on weekends with his distinctive figure. Refik meyhanes also spawned out to Cavit and Ya'ren meyhanes.
